From the 25th of October to the 2nd of November, join us for Creepy & Kooky, an event inspired by the world’s most delightfully dark family. Explore themed displays, take haunting photos, and meet live actors portraying a gruesome grandma, mysterious mother, a dashing darkly-dressed gentleman, and their gothic daughter with a stare that chills... Dress to impress in your best spooky style and share your snaps using #mothershiptons for a chance to win return tickets! Gothic glamour and spooky style are highly encouraged… Encounter the petrifying well – where everyday objects are turned to stone by nature’s strange magic – and venture into the legendary cave where the Yorkshire prophetess was born. Voted Best Magical Experience and Best Overall Attraction in Yorkshire, it’s the ultimate destination for an October adventure. Meander past our cabinets of petrified curiosities, make a wish at the mystical well, and shop strange and spellbinding souvenirs in our quirky gift shop. Enjoy autumnal views from our covered picnic benches and wander the magical mile-long trail along the River Nidd – dogs welcome in all areas excluding the playground and gift shop (with the exception of guide/assistance dogs). Access to the adventure playground, cave, and well, is subject to weather conditions. Hot dogs, pies, soup, coffee, and various refreshments are available to purchase, in addition to Toast A Ghost (marshmallow toasting on our fire pits, subject to weather conditions).
