Entrance - or rather, exit! - is by donation, with a retiring collection The David Hall Roundwell Street South Petherton TA13 5AA Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Wednesday morning of each month at 11am at The David Hall: informal music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music. This month’s music is inspired by the traditional travelling people of Eastern Europe, with pieces including ‘Songs My Mother Taught Me’ by Dvorák, Haydn’s Gypsy Rondo, and various Dumkas and other dances. Concerts last c45m. Entrance - or rather exit! - is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website is much appreciated but not essential.
