Trio Paradis Café Concert: Bohemian Rhapsodies at Midsomer Norton

Entrance - or rather, exit! - to concert is by donation, with a retiring collection St John the Baptist Church Midsomer Norton BA3 2HX Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Friday lunchtime of each month (Feb-Dec) at 12.30pm at St John’s Church, Midsomer Norton: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café from midday where you can meet friends for a chat before the concert. This month’s music is inspired by the traditional travelling people of Eastern Europe, with pieces including ‘Songs My Mother Taught Me’ by Dvorák, Haydn’s Gypsy Rondo, and various Dumkas and other dances. Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments - tea, coffee & Rosemary's delicious home-made cakes - are on sale half an hour before the concert.
