A unique and remarkable nonconformist chapel in an American colonial style, with veranda and charming interior. Built in 1796 in Horsham as part of a Napoleonic barracks, it was moved to Charlwood and opened as a chapel in 1816. Listed Grade II*. Located within the historic village of Charlwood. Praised by Pevsner. In 2019 the Chapel was completely restored, mainly thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund and a permanent exhibition which tells the history of the building and the village has been installed...
