The Changing Face of Central Morley

Sat 13 Sep:The exhibitions will be open from 10 am to 4 pm.; Free Entry. Morley Library, Commercial Street, Morley, Leeds LS27 8HZ Heritage Open Day: Images and slide show showing the face of Central Morley around Queen Street between the 19th Century to the 1970s. Video describing a tour of Morley Town Hall. Slides of Listed Buildings. Personal queries on Local and Family History. The exhibition will be split into different sections of the library. A variety of slide shows, videos and Power Point presentations will be given during the day in the computer section of the library. Various aspects of Morley's Architecture will be shown, illustrating how it has changed over the last 200 years. Much of this will feature the growth of the Textile Industry, followed by its decline.
