The Museum of Island History, housed in Newport’s iconic Guildhall, welcomes visitors on Thursday 18th September (10am–2pm). Journey through the Island’s past—from prehistoric fossils to modern-day festivals and don’t miss the new display of fascinating finds unearthed by the Vectis Searchers Metal Detecting Club. Also on Thursday, members of the public are invited to join a unique immersive walk celebrating the life and poetry of Charlotte Mew.
