Heritage Open Day: Set in a tranquil parkland, explore this Georgian country house with its unusual collection of pianos including some owned by Chopin, Bizet and Elgar. Families will love the natural adventure area in the woodland with its treehouse and bug burrow. On Sunday 14 September, visit Hatchlands Park house and garden as part of Heritage Open days. Explore the tranquil parkland with its ponds, wildflower meadows, open pasture and ancient woodland. Families can enjoy the natural adventure area complete with balance beams, a treehouse and a bug burrow. On Sunday afternoon you can take a peek inside the Georgian mansion. Originally built for naval hero Admiral Boscawen, it has seen many different residents over the years.
