It looks south with views towards Nine Standards Rigg and has had limited alterations over the last 250 years. We need to do more research! Only traces remain of the old greenhouses. My grandmother, Rosemary Blackett-Ord was a keen gardener. After her death the garden was rather neglected, and over the last 10 years we have started to restore it in a traditional manner, rather constrained by our 3 small children.
