Constructed in 1618 this grade I timber framed building had its upper storey added in 1641. Hammer beam roof and ancient artefacts on show, including heraldic crest of the second Marquess of Hertford, display of Masonic regalia, and local photographic exhibition. As a war memorial this building displays the names of the fallen in both World Wars.
