Heritage Open Day: Explore over 1,000 years of history at Horton Court – the oldest inhabited roofed structure the National Trust cares for. Each room has a different story to tell with original features dotted throughout the building revealing snippets of the fashions and tastes of Horton’s owners, including William Knight, one of Henry VIII’s top diplomats. From its beginnings as a stone hall in the 11th century to a modern day holiday cottage, discover the evolution of this unique building and the influential individuals that lived here.
