The synagogue is a Grade II Listed Building opened 127 years ago. The recently completed Visitor Centre was made possible by a substantial grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. It includes a timeline detailing the history of the Community since the early days of Queen Victoria’s reign, as well as an interactive computer programme covering all aspects of Judaism.
