Great Central Railway - Loughborough Central Station, Great Central Road, Loughborough LE11 1RW Heritage Open Day: Loughborough Central Station on the Great Central Railway will be open for visitors on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September 2025 as part of the Loughborough Heritage Open Weekend. (Please note that train travel is NOT included). Explore Loughborough Central Station buildings and their 126 years of history. Loughborough Central includes some impressive architectural features, including a large glass canopy which is believed to be the largest such structure on a preserved railway line.
