Grane Engineering Museum, Grane Mill, Laneside Road, Haslingden BB4 5PP Heritage Open Day: Grane Engineering Museum is a community project in development where volunteers are bringing their Edwardian Steam Mill back to life after decades of neglect. See the mighty 500hp mill engine, looms, cars and other related exhibits. Grane Mill was a state of the art weaving mill built in 1907 when Cotton was King. It originated 2 miles away at Calf Hey watermill in 1798, but had to move when Ogden Reservoir was needed.
