Aylesbury Opera presents a programme of popular highlights, with piano accompaniment. Featuring professional soloists, this will be a wonderful evening of entertainment, with a variety of solos, duets and ensembles from across the opera canon, including Mozart, Donizetti, Verdi and Puccini. Founded by David Hayes, Aylesbury Opera began in 1979 as an evening class at Aylesbury College of Further Education. Our first production was Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro in November 1980.
