The Forest, Hampton Lovett, Hampton Lovett, Droitwich WR9 0LU Heritage Open Day: Celebrating 200 years of the railways, you will see a stunning, working 00 gauge model (built by two local enthusiasts) which reveals Hampton Lovett's railway heritage. Then wander around this Grade I listed church and discover its historic features. The 'Hampton Lovett Heritage Railway' (located inside the church) reveals Hampton Lovett's relationship with the railways and in particular the Worcester and Wolverhampton railway line which opened in 1850. The railway includes new rolling stock and live sound from the engines to add to the atmosphere! The church itself is central to the model with the line passing close by.
