Heritage Open Day: Historians and authors Peter Ryder and Robert Peers will share their expertise and enthusiasm to explore the church of St Andrew's, the village of Bywell and their relevance to the local area. This is an event of two halves. From 14:00 Peter Ryder will present a talk in St Andrew’s based around his book Reading the Fabric - An investigative guide to the medieval churches of Northumberland where he’ll focus on the architecture of the church and that of St Peter’s. The first half of the event will end with a little music performed by Peter. From 16:30 Robert Peers will begin a short walking tour of the wider site around Bywell Village at St Andrew’s church...
