Old St. Leonards Hall House, Roberts Road, Exeter EX2 4HD Heritage Open Day: St Leonards Old Hall (formerly Roberts Road Hall) hosts a family heritage event: the Dissenters' Graveyard; the history and heritage of this corner of St Leonards; refreshments; childrens’ activities;. The Graveyard will be open with guide and a storyteller. The event focusses on Exeter Dissenters Graveyard with activities in the Hall and at the Graveyard which is a short walk away. It answers the questions: who were the Dissenters?; why were there Dissenters?; why did they need their own Graveyard?; and how important are they in England's history? The Hall will house an exhibition on the history of Dissent in England, on the history of the Graveyard and on notable Dissenters.
