Heritage Open Day: Take a tour of the church and visit to the Bell Tower at St Mary's Winkfield. Refreshments St Mary’s Winkfield – Sunday 14 There will be a power point presentation during our Bell Sunday Service which will tell the story of the history of Tower Bells and Hand Bells. Many of the readings, prayers and hymns will also be about bells. Several of the poems were written by a previous Vicar who was also an historian and poet. The hand bell ringers will give a demonstration of hand bell ringing and then others in the congregation will be asked if they would like “to have a goâ€.
