Holy Trinity Church, Church Lane, Little Ouseburn, York YO26 9SH Heritage Open Day: Explore this beautiful church and mausoleum with guided tours and information explaining the history and architecture since Anglo Saxon times. This ancient grade 1 church, in a lovely peaceful setting, has many interesting features which will be explained in guided tours led by Dr Duncan Wright of Newcastle University and Giles Proctor, an historic buildings architect with Historic England. The church is Norman, built on the site of a previous Anglo-Saxon church. Come and learn how the church has adapted to changes from the Norman invasion, through the Reformation, and into Victorian and modern times.
