Heritage Open Day: We have trained volunteer guides to carry out tours of the church and tower. Display panels in a designated heritage zone. The tower will be open and viewing from the roof will be allowed; weather permitting and risk assessed. All Saint's is a grade 1 listed building. A church has existed on this site since Saxon times and is mentioned in the Domesday Book. The clunch and flint exterior of All Saints has recently been restored with a grant from National Heritage Lottery Fund. The main phases of the building date from the 14th, 15th and 19th centuries. Features inside the church demonstrate its long history: - Norman font from the Aylesbury Group which is the work of Totternhoe craftsmen. - 14th century tomb of Sir John de Sewell who accompanied the Black Prince to Aquitaine in 1366 - Six tower bells from 1580-1816, one reputed to be the oldest bell in Bedfordshire. - Stained glass windows in the aisles dating from 1864...
