Come and explore Downham Market by vintage bus or foot, its buildings, people and history. Downham Market & District Heritage Society, a charity which runs Discover Downham Heritage Centre in Downham Market, are collaborating with the Town Council and organising the first town wide Heritage Open Day in the town. Wander through this compact, pretty Georgian town with its carrstone buildings and enjoy seeing and learning about a number of buildings that will be open to the public, many for the first time.
