Skipton Quaker Meeting House, The Ginnel, Newmarket Street, Skipton BD23 2JA Heritage Open Day: Come and visit our 17th century Quaker meeting house and garden in the heart of Skipton, enjoy our hospitality and explore links between the past and the present. Skipton is a small 17th century Quaker meeting house, built in 1693 in a 'domestic' style, together with a 19th century cottage and modern meeting room. Between the two buildings is a burial ground, now converted into a peaceful walled garden. There will be a display with information about the history of the site and some of the people associated with it and Friends will be available to answer questions.
