Coventry Model Railway Club Open Weekend

Club Room 2nd Floor, Unit 3, Canal Basin Warehouse, Leicester Row, Coventry CV1 4LH Heritage Open Day: Come to our club room in the historic Coventry Canal Basin. See our layouts running and talk to club members. Four large and several small layouts in a variety of scales covering the 30s to the present day. Come and watch trains running on our four large layouts and several smaller ones. This year we celebrate 70 years of the model railway club. We have layouts in N, 00 and 009 on show. Children are welcome and have their own layouts to play with. Members will be on hand to demonstrate and explain the layouts. Other layouts are being built and should be running, illustrating everything from modelling skills to computer control. We welcome questions about railway modelling and railways in general. If you have a problem with your trains we might be able to help. Some surplus stock will be available to buy at great prices. Tea, Coffee and Homemade cakes will be available to purchase...
