Sat 20 Sep:1030-1230; Free Entry. The Pipewell, Well Lane, Liskeard PL14 3TP Heritage Open Day: Join Liskeard & District Museum volunteers at the Pipewell. Explore the stories of this historic water source, take part in crafts, learn about its hidden history, and enjoy rare access to the well, normally closed to the public. Drop in any time between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm for this free, family-friendly event. Try your hand at “make and take” craft activities inspired by the Pipewell and learn more about its history. Museum volunteers will also be on hand to share the work we do at Liskeard and District Museum. The well is probably the main reason for the town's existence.
