Sun 14 Sep:1100-1500; Free Entry. 131 Fore Street, Ipswich IP3 1LR Heritage Open Day: We are opening our doors for a drop in session to explore our local studies library. We will also be showcasing a range of original archives and be on hand to help with your family history/house history research. We open the doors to our award winning archive building to showcase a selection of our original archives, selected by our archivists to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Freehold Land Society and the architecture involved. We will also be offering a drop-in family history or house history helpdesk. You will also have free access to ancestry, find my past and the britishnewspaperarchive online. Our friendly staff will be on hand to get you started. You are also welcome to drop in and browse our collection of local studies material, including books, journals and periodicals.
