Heritage Open Day: Bampton’s Architecture, Buildings and Church: a journey through Bampton's built environment, past and present. Although a small town, Bampton’s Architecture is varied and spans many architectural fashions. Our exhibition of the buildings and the Church is a journey through Bampton's built environment. Our special display showing some of Bampton's most important buildings and their history will be on show in one of its oldest buildings, the 13th-century church. There will also be an exhibition and tour revealing the intriguing structural and design changes in response to the times, ecclesiastical fashion and social need. You will be able to see a display of architectural drawings of the church through the years...
