Meet our curatorial volunteers, see how we store and care for objects and how we've utilised our Grade II* building to store and display over 50,000 objects. Have you ever wondered how museums decide what to collect, how they store and look after their collections or how they put together an exhibition? This is your chance to find out! As part of our National Heritage Lottery Project, we're offering visitors the opportunity to see inside a museum store and meet our dedicated team of curatorial volunteers and our curator. You'll also find interactive challenges scattered throughout the museum, which will provide insight into contemporary collecting, interpretation, and displaying objects.
