Shoreham Fort - Giving History a Future by Bringing History to Life

Sat 13 Sep:1100-1600; Free Entry. Shoreham Fort, Forthaven, Shoreham Beach, Shoreham-by-Sea BN435HY Heritage Open Day: Come and join us at Shoreham Fort and watch the Scheduled Monument come to life. Shoreham Fort will once again buzz with activity as the military vehicles roll into place on this Saturday morning bringing with them living history groups, including the Royal Sussex Living History Group, to put on displays in and around the fort. Why not Join the WWI Trench Experience in our War Memorial Trench, dedicated in 2022 as part of the Heritage Open Days Festival or visit the Air Raid Shelter Experience launched at the festival last year. So come and travel through time with us from the Victorian era through to WWII as we bring history to life.
