The Old Wesleyan Chapel, Cotherstone, Barnard Castle DL12 9NL Heritage Open Day: Former Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, also village school until 1965. Now community owned/run shop, café and heritage centre. Special display of material showing the history and refurbishment of the building. Guided walk leaflet. Refreshments A much loved and used building, which was also the main school in the village until a new one was built in 1965.
