Heritage Open Day: Guided tours will be conducted around the village, with older buildings dating from Anglo-Saxon and early mediaeval times through to the Victorian era. There will also be a CGI film depicting our village in the 1300s showing in the church. Following the success of our Curiosities in a small church in 2024, we discovered that many people are equally interested in the architecture of our small village; many of our older building styles range from early mediaeval through to the Victorian era. The tour will include a riverside section where the Knights Hospitaller used the water for their trade, and the onward conveyance of tithes to their headquarters in Clerkenwell, London...
