During our Heritage Open Days we want to highlight three notable architectural phases of the development of Kirk Sandall as a community from the important features of our medieval church, to the 20th century village built by the glassmakers Pilkington Brothers on Garden Village principles and designed by Patrick (later Sir Patrick) Abercrombie in conjunction with local developer T.H.
