Meet at the Spar car park to start this tour of Alston and learn the history of its corn mills - Low Mill, High Mill and Bridge End Mill. There were five corn mills on Alston Moor, two in Alston itself and another just outside. We’ll be finishing at the High Mill, which still retains many features of its working life.
