Take this approximately 1-1.5-hour guided walk learning more about Alston, its buildings, and former inhabitants. Once known for its quaint cobbled front street, Alston still has a lot of quirky charm. There are signs of living upstairs, a tradition left over from the days of the reivers; evidence abounds of Anglicans, Wesleyans, Primitives, Congregationalists, Catholics and Quakers, while the Mill Race that flows under the town has its own story.
