St John the Baptist Church, Church Road, Baginton CV8 3AR Heritage Open Day: Come and see this fascinating 13th century sandstone church with a central spire. The interior has a very fine 15th Century brass dedicated to Sir William Bagot and his wife Margaret, together with 17th and 18th Century mural tablets and 18th Century panelling. Other unusual features are the two sets of triple chancel arches and the bell-turret built on the east wall of the nave. In the churchyard are graves from the Polish War and WWII. On Friday 12 September Chelsea Flower show Gold Award winner Sarah Horne and her team of flower arrangers will be decorating the church, you are welcome to watch their progress and enjoy their expertise as you view the church...
