St. Cuthberts Church, Shibdon Road, Blaydon NE21 5AE Heritage Open Day: St Cuthbert's will be open with special displays on the history of the church and from the Blaydon and Winlaton History Society. Talk by Val Scully at 2pm Saturday. Refreshments available. St Cuthbert's is 180 this year! The church will be open from 1000-1600 on Saturday 13th September and 1400-1600 on Sunday 14th September with photos of Old Blaydon and Winlaton alongside displays about local people and the church.
