Exhibition Open Day at Providence Chapel at Throwleigh on Dartmoor

Providence Chapel, Throwleigh EX20 2HZ Heritage Open Day: We offer a warm welcome (with home-made teas) to Providence Chapel, Throwleigh, where you can see a special exhibition of the Dartmoor Photographs of Chris Chapman. In 2023 Providence was the winner of two 'Open to Visitors' National Church Awards. Visitors to our Open Day on Saturday 13 September will be able to see inside Providence Chapel and its Victorian Schoolroom. Dating back to 1839, Providence is one of the earliest Bible Christian chapels to have been built in Devon. We were delighted that in 2023 the National Churches Trust recognised our commitment to keeping our doors open by presenting us with two National Church Awards.
