Using real accounts from those who lived through the disaster, ‘Fishlake’ by Jeremy Fletcher tells of the South Yorkshire village devastated by the flood when overnight 90% of its 250 homes were submerged beneath floodwater. All of a sudden, Fishlake was thrust into the centre of a national storm, surrounded by TV crews, politicians, the military and emergency responders.
