Community Open Doors Event

This drop-in event is free to attend. No tickets are required! Circomedia, Portland Square, St Paul's BS2 8SJ Come along to this free, family-friendly day in our home at St. Paul’s Church and enjoy a range of interactive activities. The workshops will be curated by celebrated local creative Norman ‘Rubba’ Stephenson and hosted by Circomedia. Children and young people can try their hand at a range of circus skills like aerial hoop, trapeze, juggling and tightwire, in our Youth Circus Have-a-Go sessions, led by our specialist Circus Skills Instructors; play to the rhythm in group African Drumming Workshops with St. Paul’s creatives Rubba and Blaggy; and get on your feet and move to the beat as Rubba leads a group African dance session! This event is presented as part of the national Heritage Open Days Festival. As part of this programme, the Churches Conservation Trust will be running a free guided tour of our historic venue from 10am. Come along and find out some of the fascinating history of our iconic St. Paul’s landmark!
