Vivaldi 'Gloria' Concert in celebration on Preston Heritage Weekend

PR2 1AJ A fabulous Sunday afternoon concert by the Rawstorne Singers, one of Preston's Premier choirs. We are presenting Vivaldi's thrilling 'Gloria' plus a selection of choral favourites including works by Felix Mendelssohn, Anton Bruckner, John Rutter, Herbert Howells, Philip Wilby, Claudio Monteverdi, Charles Stanford and Felice Anerio. The concert celebrates Preston Heritage Weekend and also offers a great opportunity to see Exhibition Panels from Lancashire Museums featuring the work of Paley and Austin. The church is open for morning service at 10:00 and then from 12noon until 2pm to view the exhibition panels.
