My Car Plays Tapes is a show about rural touring, by writer and performer John Osborne. John has been performing rural touring shows across the UK since 2012 and this is a storytelling show about getting older, driving a car that is about to be scrapped and being unexpectedly reunited with your old cassette collection from the 1990s. From the creator of cult fringe shows 'John Peel’s Shed' and 'Circled in the Radio Times'.
