St. Mary's Church, Church Street, Titchmarsh, Kettering NN14 3DB 'The Wandering Minstrels' (www.wanderingminstrels.org.uk) pay their first visit to Titchmarsh for 'THE WORLD OF GILBERT AND SULLIVAN'. They will sing, act and dance their way through many of the G&S shows including 'The Pirates of Penzance', 'The Gondoliers', 'The Yeomen of the Guard', 'HMS Pinafore', 'Princess Ida', 'The Mikado', 'Ruddigore' and 'Utopia, Limited'. Artistes appearing in this Gala concert are Alexandra Ferrari, Emma Stratton, Charles Mills, Tim Hurst-Brown and Stephen Godward, with Peter Hewitt at the piano. The concert is a light-hearted evening of excerpts from the Gilbert and Sullivan comic operas, presented in period costume and performed in traditional style.It is bound to be extremely popular, so members of the public are advised to purchase their tickets early in order to avoid disappointment.
