Join professional London storyteller Vanessa Woolf for a colourful interactive storytime with music, props and even smells! The Royal College of Physicians has collected books for over 500 years. Today the RCP Heritage Library has over 50,000 books! In 1666 the RCP library was all-but destroyed in the Great Fire of London. Come along this half-term, join in, meet our storyteller and help uncover the secret of the mysterious woman who rebuilt our library! The story will be repeated throughout the day, choose your preferred time and book a ticket to enjoy a 30-minute story time plus the chance to explore our exhibition and enjoy drop-in crafts. Recommended for children aged 5 – 11 but all are welcome. There is a session aimed at children with special educational needs, disabled children, and their families at 11.30am. Everyone who joins this storytelling event will also have the opportunity to drop in to our ‘Patterns, pages and prints’ craft activity room to have fun with paper-based creation...
