As the sun rises, love is in the air—but so is jealousy, and a little bit of mischief. Sutton Theatre Company (STC) are excited to present the all-time great musical Oklahoma! Oklahoma! is a musical comedy that follows the events surrounding two love triangles. The charismatic cowboy Curly and the feisty farming girl Laurey are in love, but both are playing hard to get. When needing a date to the local dance, she says yes to the brooding Jud Fry instead- cue drama! Meanwhile, flirty Ado Annie just “Cain’t Say No” to any man and tries her very best to commit to sweet-talking cowboy Will Parker. With laughter, romance and rising tensions both women follow a romantic journey as bumpy as a ‘Surrey ride’ down a country road! But with the help of friends, neighbours, and a good old-fashioned hoedown, love wins the day.
