Earth Science Week: Family Film and Fun Day

14:15 – 16:00: Screening of Monsters Inc. (2001) in Lecture Theatre (booking required) The Geological Society Burlington House Piccadilly W1J 0BG Join us at The Geological Society this half term to celebrate Earth Science Week with a fun day of activities and a free screening of Monster’s Inc. (2001)! This year’s Earth Science Week celebrates ‘Energy Resources for Our Future’. Drop in to the Society and get involved in fun educational activities all about energy from 10:00 until 14:15, including those based on resources such as solar and geothermal energy and the minerals powering green technology. Come and explore all the ways we are powering our future! You can also enjoy our free screening of Monsters Inc. (2001) and see how the monsters of Monstropolis transition from screams to laughter to power their future. Activities are suitable for 7-12 years old. This event is free to attend, but prior booking for the film is essential. We have limited capacity in our lecture theatre; tickets are on a first come first served basis.
