Horsley Choral Society Concert - 'Music for Advent'

Tickets Adult £18 Under 18 and students £5 St Andrew's Church, Church Street, Cobham KT11 3EJ Under the baton of new MD Elspeth Wyllie, Horsley Choral Society will be performing 'Music for Advent' on 6th December at St Andrew's Church, Cobham featuring music by Monteverdi, Vaughan Williams and Weir plus congregational carols. There will be a retiring collection in aid of Momentum, a children's cancer charity. Tickets on sale from box office (07444 722318/01483 282267) or on the door. The choir is also holding a free open evening on 8th December at East Horsley Village Hall (8-9pm) and invites you to sing some favourite carols, followed by seasonal refreshments. All are welcome to come and carol with the choir, music-reading ability not essential. If you enjoy singing, the choir and Elspeth would love to meet you on any Monday evening during term time at East Horsley Village Hall (8-10pm). As one member puts it, 'I love the thrill you get when you sing a piece and hear the wonderful music we've worked on sound amazing'. You too could feel like this!
