Musical Afternoon in The Music Room at Stansted House

Stansted House, Stansted Park, Rowlands Castle, Hants PO9 6DX Los Ladrones, a local vocal quintet which was established in 2013, present an afternoon of tuneful and enjoyable music by the English composer, Edward German in the elegant Music Room, adorned with lovely portrait paintings. Concert versions of extracts from 'A Princess of Kensington' which includes an amusing quartet for male voices and the popular 'Merrie England', with songs such as 'The Yeomen of England' and 'The English Rose', with narration and piano accompaniment. The afternoon begins with the well-known 'Glorious Devon' and 'Dream O' Day Jill' from 'Tom Jones'. Delicious Interval refreshments provided by The Friends of Stansted.
