Knebworth care home to host open day

Saturday 29th November from 10am-4pm Knebworth Care Home, 59 London Rd, Woolmer Green, Knebworth SG3 6JE A care home in Knebworth is inviting the local community to attend its open day. Care UK’s Knebworth, on London Road in Woolmer Green, will be opening its doors to the public on Saturday 29th November from 10am-4pm, when visitors can join the celebrations and tour the recently updated facilities, including revitalised floors and rooms. The open day aims to give the Knebworth community a closer look at the care home environment and the enhancements made to ensure comfort, safety and a welcoming atmosphere. On arrival, guests will be met by the team in the home’s main reception area, where they can enjoy welcome drinks and canapés. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about the care services offered and see first-hand the improvements to communal spaces and private rooms. Tours of the care home will be available and visitors will be able to enjoy plenty of fun, family-friendly activities, including live entertainment from Brook William Charles Music. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy tasters of the delicious meals on the residents’ menu at Knebworth, specially prepared by the home’s talented head chef. Daniel Grab, Home Manager at Knebworth, said: “We’re excited to open our doors and show the community the work we’ve undertaken to refresh our facilities.
