If you are wanting to learn to sing you'll find just what you were looking for with us in the Sheffield Rock Choir. The Sheffield Rock Choir is led by local musician Ainjiel-Shaolee Clark. It's our privilege to take a minute to tell you about our mysterious choir flash mobs around the country for Comic Relief, our sell-out performances at venues like the O2 or our hit ITV documentary, but at Rock Choir we know it's not just about the unique huge events, it's about our choir members singing in the community. Join your local Sheffield Rock Choir to become part of this 'national phenomenon' (as described in the Sunday Times) and discover a whole new world of opportunities to sing in Sheffield and meet people. You've probably heard us singing in and around South Yorkshire, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Sheffield Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Come along and try us out for FREE at a taster session, and experience singing with your local 'exceptional' Rock Choir for yourself. Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir has helped me through really bad times in my life. Singing together lifts my spirits and helps me forget all my worries. I have made really good friends and it has certainly raised my confidence!! A year ago would never have attempted a solo but now enjoy the challenge. Rock Choir is really good fun and I do love singing anyway.' - Pauline (Rock Choir Member) Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement...
