Housebuilder invites Lichfield community for a day of festive fun
Sat 6 Dec 25
11am to 3pm
Free
Curborough Lakes, Watery Lane, Lichfield WS13 8ES
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at a Lichfield housing development, where a family-friendly festive event is set to spread seasonal cheer. In support of Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, Barratt Redrow Midlands’s Curborough Lakes is welcoming the local community to a magical day of celebrations on Saturday 6 December from 11am to 3pm. Visitors to Watery Lane are in for a treat with a special visit from Santa, who will be handing out gifts, alongside a special festive market featuring stalls from Curborough Craft Centre. Visitors can also explore the new development and chat with Redrow’s friendly sales team. On the day, visitors can enjoy stalls from local independent businesses, Thyme Kitchen, Little Bath & Body Barn, Elements Glass, Luvfelt, The Pottery Cave and Phoenix Interiors, all offering unique gifts and treats. At midday, guests can enjoy a free festive lunch, followed by mince pies. Throughout the event, older guests can indulge in champagne and mulled wine as they celebrate the season, while children can enjoy refreshing juices. A face painter will be available throughout the day, and parents and carers are invited to pick up activity packs to keep the little ones entertained. Children will also have the chance to meet Santa and capture magical memories with the man himself. To wrap up the celebrations, at 3pm, Santa will lead the development’s magical Christmas lights switch-on, marking the start of the festive season at Curborough Lakes...
