The band will play music from their new album Furrow, released on Discus Music. Expect music that is by turns lyrical, atmospheric, groovy, and mischievous. The trio have recently been gigging across the country, and picking up great reviews for their album, which can be heard here. “Superb contemporary jazz” Jazz Views “Small Blue might be led by a drummer but this is one of the best ‘piano trio’ albums that I’ve heard in a long time” JAZZMAN “high grade Bill Evans Trio territory … each track has its own picture, each track turns its own curve, put all together and Small Blue have themselves a minor masterpiece.” Steve Day -- Windsor Jazz Club is a monthly jazz club night, every third Sunday, in the relaxing and atmospheric Hope live music bar on Alma Road in Windsor. The club brings new artists to the town, playing a mixture of well-loved jazz standards and original compositions. The evening starts at 8pm (doors at 7:30) and presents an hour and a half of live music with an interval halfway. The music finishes around 10pm and the venue is open until 11pm for socialising. Come along to meet other lovers of live music, jazz followers, aficionados and musicians.
